Hey there! I’m Penny Turko — real estate matchmaker, design lover, and proud Merrittonian.

I help people just like YOU buy and sell homes here in beautiful Merritt, BC, with less stress, more clarity, and maybe even a few laughs along the way. I’m your "give it to you straight" guide; all about creative solutions that make your real estate journey easier.

I believe real estate isn’t just about the numbers, square footage and lot size… it’s about how a home makes you feel. The right space should spark joy, induce peace, and inspire the next chapter of your life. Whether you're selling a place you’ve loved or hunting for the one that makes your heart skip — I’m here for it. And if you’re staying put but craving a refresh? I’ve got design tips for that too.

A bit about me:

I kicked off my real estate career here in the Nicola Valley back in 1989, stepped away in 2005 to raise our our kids, and I came back in 2025 eager to bring fresh energy, seasoned experience, and creative ideas to today’s real estate market.   Since 1989, my hubby and I have lived here in Merritt, where life feels a little sweeter now that we’ve become grandparents. Who knew how great that would be? Well.... all the grandparents I suppose! lol

We love this beautiful valley and over the years we've built 3 new homes here and done a couple of massive renovations... Right up my alley! If you're interested in building or renovating and need some guidance and a contractor connection, I'm your gal.

When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me hiking local trails, showcasing the community, sharing the beautiful Nicola Valley from the back of our Harley, binge watching design shows (ya, it's a bit of an addiction), and hanging out with my favorite humans.
